A Singer who lifts!

Yash Desai is an Indian Singer-Songwriter & YouTuber from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He started his journey by creating cover videos, and slowly expanded to well-produced music videos. He has also been fortunate to partner with one of India's largest digital networks to expand his projects and passion.

Since his childhood, music was a huge influence on Yash. He is gifted with passion for music from his maternal family. Also, he inherits a rich legacy of Rabaris from his paternal side where authentic folk music is a major part of their tribe that captivates their culture & heritage. Hence, he is fond of all genres of music—be it Indian Classical, Bollywood, Folk, Western Pop, or Ghazal—which is what gives him the sense of listening to emotions rather than just words.

Yash is god-gifted with a captivating voice. Singing was his favourite pastime, but it never occurred to him to pursue it as a profession. His recitation of poems in a musical form during academic years made him popular amongst teachers and other students. He also participated in many regional and state singing competitions, reaching the list of finalists, and later went on to perform in numerous live concerts. At one such concert, he released a cover video of “All of Me” as a gift to himself on his birthday—and that is where his YouTube journey commenced.

Eventually, Yash started understanding the process of singing & content creation. He began learning Indian Classical, giving him the necessary control over his vocal skills as well as the right knowledge of rhythm, harmony & melody. Along the way, he gradually learned content creation too. With each project came new learnings, new steps to climb—but nonetheless, things went great.

In 2018, Yash Desai and his team released their rendition of Perfect on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music and other major streaming services. The song gained a lot of viewers and brought more subscribers to his channel. In 2019, he released renditions of Sucker and Hello, both of which were loved by audiences. His covers of Tera Chehra, Ranjish Hi Sahi, Vhalam Aavo Ne and others also received much appreciation, and soon after, his channel became an Official Artist Channel on YouTube.

From covers, Yash successfully transitioned into creating originals. His first original Hausla was an inspiring track that introduced him as a songwriter and performer. This was followed by Raadha Raani, a devotional release that received immense appreciation. His romantic single Tere Ishq Mein went on to cross 1 million views, cementing his place as a rising independent artist. In 2024, he released Bholenath Shankara, a modern devotional track that became one of his most loved offerings. In 2025, his single Barf reached over 5 million hearts across platforms, marking his most successful release to date, followed by Namah Parvati Pataye, which carried forward his devotional expression and expanded his listener base even further.

Yash’s music has also been featured in some of the biggest playlists on Spotify such as Latest Love Tunes, Desi Love Songs, and on JioSaavn in Artistone Finds, New Indie-Hindi, Wow Winters, Shiv, and many more. Through a partnership with RED FM, his songs have been played across 37 cities in India, giving his music a nationwide reach.

Yash has a special place for fitness in his life. He has been through a major fitness transformation, which is where he learned all the hard work and dedication it takes to grow. That’s why when Yash is not singing, he is at the gym hitting those extra sets of weights. He is also fondly called, “A Singer Who Lifts!”

Yash Desai is now steadily building his catalogue of original songs while continuing to explore his musical roots. He hopes to touch the sky yet stay grounded, always overwhelmed by the love and support his listeners shower upon him.
